In the early days of 2010, a man named Mario R. Rubio laid the foundation of our portrait business, with a vision to create lasting memories for funeral homes in a small area of the Rio Grande Valley. Mario, a talented artist, musician, and craftsman, utilized his skills to establish a reputable name for the company, fostering deep connections with funeral directors through his artistry and charismatic nature. As the business flourished, it gained recognition and transformed into what is now known as Santa Fe Memory Portraits.

Tragically, Mario's journey was cut short in 2012 when he succumbed to cancer. However, his legacy lived on through his devoted wife, Ana R. Alcala. Determined to honor her late husband's vision and support her two children, Ana embarked on a journey of learning and growth. During Mario's final months, Ana immersed herself in courses to master the art of picture editing using Photoshop and the professional assembly of portraits. With unwavering perseverance and an indomitable spirit, she took over the reins of the business, breathing new life into Santa Fe Memory Portraits.

Ana's dedication and commitment to the craft were unparalleled. She honed her skills, elevating the business to new heights and expanding its reach to numerous funeral homes across the Rio Grande Valley. Today, our beautiful portraits grace the walls of these homes, silently narrating the story of a hardworking woman who has taken the art form to new levels of excellence. 

In 2014, Ana's life took another turn when she found love and companionship in a man named Rogelio Vento. Rogelio, a knowledgeable and experienced businessman, brought a fresh perspective to Santa Fe Memory Portraits. With his leadership and management skills, he played a pivotal role in driving the business forward and facilitating its growth. Together, Ana and Rogelio forged a formidable team, their shared vision and passion propelling Santa Fe Memory Portraits to new heights.

However, their journey did not stop there. At the onset of the global pandemic, Rogelio seized the opportunity to fulfill an unmet need in the funeral industry. He embarked on a new venture, establishing his own business known as Silver Cross Mortuary Transport Service. This additional endeavor allowed Rogelio to expand their network of funeral homes and forge invaluable connections within the industry. Through the collaboration between Santa Fe Memory Portraits and Silver Cross Mortuary Transport Service, they synergistically grew their businesses, solidifying their positions as one of the leading picture frame assembly companies in the entire Rio Grande Valley.
